For this edition of our Master breakfast at Opinno, we had the pleasure of welcoming Arancha Martinez, a Social Entrepreneur and CEO at itwillbe.org and Head of Charities at ComGo.

Arancha holds a degree in Business Studies and International Relations from ICADE, and has also studied history at the UNED and a master's degree in NGO management.

At the age of 24, she was convinced that changing the world was somehow possible. For this reason, in 2008 she travelled to India to collaborate as a development worker with one clear objective: to become an active agent of change. It was in this country where she discovered her passion: to take advantage of her knowledge and experience in strategic marketing and finance in order to apply them to the social sector to try to maximize the social impact of cooperation projects and humanitarian action.

In 2009 she founded It Will Be, an organization that aims to bring efficiency and professionalism to the humanitarian sector to be able maximize aid and funds by reaching out to many more people. Its greatest achievement far has been the creation of a system of recognition and monitoring of undocumented vulnerable groups to spark interest and get many NGOs and humanitarian action organizations to improve their interventions. This innovative system will soon be used in India, Senegal, Tunisia and Western Sahara, among other places.

Opinno Master Breakfast with Arancha Martinez

It Will be believes that transforming situations that are at the root of inequalities is the key; and that it is not only due, but it can be. It is known that the sector of International Cooperation brings many social challenges. Challenges that today have not been solved and are crying for help. In order to solve those challenges, it is necessary to attract talent, professionals capable of innovating and replicating technologies that have revolutionized other sectors to be able to find new business models and solutions.

Since 2008 this organization has divided into two areas of Development Cooperation. The first one, supports international cooperation projects with a anticipatable social impact. And secondly, in Spain, they try to create a social conscience in their society. By raising awareness, they want to involve as many people as possible to join the challenges the sector is facing.
