The Investment Forum is a high endurance event where a number of Spanish startups – previously selected by MIT Enterprise Forum Spain – individually presented during five minutes before national and international capital risk investors. The key of these brief presentations is the coordination and presentation of the strong points of the product or business idea, as the investors (business angels o venture capital) previously know the selected products thanks to the reports the startups present to them before the meeting. The recognized companies are divided in three categories: Applied Technology, Clean Technology and Biological Science.
The Investment Forum during EmTech Spain 2013 presented an opportunity for the promotion of startups and the search for investable businesses. The application period for the startups is open from the 2nd of September until the 4th of October. The recognized projects will be presented on the 18th of October and will receive a ticket to attend the EmTech Spain 2013 conference, the presentation of the Under 35’s Innovation award Spain 2013, and the Investment Forum. EmTech will end the third Spanish edition of the Investment Forum privately, in its co-working area on the 6th of November 2013 in the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (Valencia, Spain).
