The Labs department is always open to new initiatives, especially when it is shared with the rest of the team. Last Friday, March 28th, they gave a class on HTML and CSS concepts (Hypertext Markup Language and Cascading Style Sheets) which presented the fundamentals of both tools for members of the team who wanted to sign up and enjoy a short yet intense class.

A total of fifteen people ultimately joined this seminar, assuring that they found it to be a great help for applying it to their daily lives, while also significantly expanding their training in the field of computing.

After a brief introduction and explanation of basic concepts, the class was mostly practical; guiding participants in performing exercises in order to gain confidence in using the tools. The entire time the Labs team members helped participants with the exercises, and also gave tips on how to make the tasks easier.

Christian Schmidt, project manager of Labs and one of the seminar’s directors, spoke of a very satisfying experience: ‘I’ve never given a seminar and shared experience and knowledge that has filled me with more satisfaction'. He also thanked the team members for their acceptance and also ensured that 'we will hold another one soon on a similar topic.’

Rewarding experiences that help strengthen camaraderie, team unity and certainly reinforce the knowledge necessary for the proper company operation and the independence of workers in terms of information technology.
