The 55th Annual Edition of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) highlighted the growing importance of the private sector and the development of the continent.

On March 27th in Costa do Sauipe, Brazil, at the IDB and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) Board of Governors Meeting, different themes were discussed amongst the governors of the institutions of whom the majority were ministers of finance, presidents of central banks and other high-level authorities of the member countries.

About 2,000 people from the forty-eight member countries of the International Development Bank (IDB) attended this last edition which focused on the growing importance of the private sector and the development of the region.

Prior to the central meeting on Saturday, March 29th, the main obstacles of the regions strategic IDB areas were discussed at a seminar. The primary topic of the lectures presented by the experts aimed to highlight various issues such as educationenergy and the role of women in Latin America.

The most important change was visible innovation in a much more agile, modern and fresh way inspired by TEDx and MIT Technology Review events where speakers do not rely on excessive presentation material, but rather present their speeches in a much more dynamic and inspiring manner.
