The European regional program will award the 35 winners next September in Paris

MIT Technology Review, the world's oldest technology magazine, published by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has just announced the launch of the new edition of the Innovators Under 35 Europe Awards. The aim of this competition is to discover the most disruptive technological projects in Europe and to recognise the talent of these young innovators in order to give them the recognition they deserve.

The search for the 35 best profiles lasts until March 12, 2018. The conditions for applying are as follows:

  • The applicants must have the nationality of one of the member countries of the European Union (EU) or have resided there for at least 5 years.
  • Be under 35 years of age.
  • Work on technological innovations.

Following the closing of nominations, a jury composed by experts and editors of MIT Technology Review will select the 35 winners. They will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony that will take place in Paris next September thanks to the support of BNP Paribas. During this ceremony, the European community of Innovators Under 35 (made up of previous winners, judges, collaborators, experts in the academic and business field and entrepreneurs) will gather in France to welcome the next generation of leaders and innovators.

In addition, as part of the events organized by MIT Technology Review in Europe this year, the winners of the Innovators Under 35 award will have the opportunity to participate in EmTech France’s conference that that will be held in Toulouse next October 2nd and 3rd. EmTech is the most important technology conference of the world organized by this publication the MIT Technology Review in United States, Asia, Europe and Latin America, that brings together the most relevant researchers and entrepreneurs in emerging technologies to present their latest advances.
