Opinno has SOLD OUT the first edition of this management congress celebrated throughout the world

It is said that a leader is not the boss but the person who inspires others. According to this saying, the power to govern must therefore be accompanied by talent so that accomplishments generate the most creative ideas and best results. In order to promote this talent among world leaders the HBR Summit was born, an event that has just celebrated its first edition in history.

The meeting belongs to Harvard Business Reviewthe magazine that specializes in management, and that awarded Opinno the execution and production license. The company has brought together more than 30 international high-class speakers for this first edition. Its debut took place last 26th and 27th of March in Mexico, the chosen to host the world premiere which was attended by nearly 700, selling out the venue’s capacity.

The speakers included LinkedIn’s former Vice President of Talent, Steve Cadigan, the head of India’s Information Technology, Arvind Gupta, the director of Google Mexico, Lino Cattaruzzi, the regional director of purchasing for General Motors Raymundo Garza, and Opinno CEO, Pedro Moneo, among others.

This set of figures talked about various topics related to leadership, strategy and management during the event held over 17 hours. The human factor, big data, the transformation of cities and expansion for those without Internet connection were some of the points on which the event wanted to shed light on.

The selection of this Latin American country to host the first HBR Summit in history is based on its rapidly paced economic development progress. The Mexican industry is composed of more than five million companies that employ more than 30 million citizens. The location chosen to host the event was the Bicentennial Theatre in the city of Leon, located in the state of Guanajuato.

Meanwhile, Opinno wants to contribute to national development through the management of this event. The company has been selected for its proven ability to produce similar events. Since 2008, Opinno is licensed for editing the Spanish edition of MIT Technology Review magazine. The publication has its own specialized event emerging technologies, EmTech, of which Opinno has already held several editions in countries like Spain, Mexico and Colombia.

The coordinator of projects in Latin America at Opinno, Patricia Jimenez, confirmed the "success of this first edition of HBR Summit". The person responsible says: "The experience has been very well received at home and we hope to expand to many other parts of the world." Thus, more and more countries will benefit from the inspiration and overflowing talent at this meeting.
