The nine companies selected for the program just returned from a stay of one week in the world capital of entrepreneurship through the OpenAxel Week. The program has has a personalized coaching plan led by international experts and a series of meetings that are held with investors.

In addition to providing the necessary background for a possible expansion to the US, this experience has allowed those selected to get in contact with other successful entrepreneurs to create its own network. This is actually the main objective of OpenAxel.

Its goal is to consolidate the first open platform that brings together the most innovative and disruptive companies in Europe to promote entrepreneurship in the region. This platform aims to collect many different companies, from service providers and start-ups to universities, provide comparative information for each accelerator and promote cross-border synergies between accelerators.

The selection of these nine companies was conducted among more than 200 European candidates that were submitted to the call. A dozen of them formed the group of finalists, the ultimate prize of the OpenAxel Week was played during the South Summit held last October in Madrid (Spain).

Three Spanish companies were included among the nine European finalists. My TwinPlace has created a House exchange community that makes housing 'bartering' possible through one click and its totally free. Audio Snaps is an application that captures the sound from pictures. Finally, 89 bits entertainment Company enables sports fans to compete with their idols in real time when they appear on television.
