According to the Instituto de Empresa’s Centre for the Governance of Change, ‘By the year 2030, almost 50% of current jobs will be automated or subcontracted; three out of four companies currently listed among the S & P 500 will no longer exist; the life expectancy of babies born in the developed world will have exceeded 125 years; and what is more worrying, the viability of democracy as a political ideology will be questioned by half of western citizens.’ These are just some of the many changes our globalized and interconnected world will experience in the coming decades.
Each year, the Centre for the Governance of Change chooses the most influential individuals in innovation to help support and communicate its institutional objectives, which include how to manage, anticipate and embrace change.
This year, our CEO and founder Pedro Moneo has been honoured and named Future World Fellow in recognition of his contribution as business entrepreneur, innovator and publisher of the Spanish language edition of the most established technology magazine in the world MIT Technology Review.
