Last Wednesday, July 18, Opinno's team had the opportunity to attend Emmanuel Djengue's presentation about the challenges facing the Spanish insurance sector.

Emmanuel has dedicated his life to helping companies in the insurance sector manage operational reviews, design evaluations, and digital transformation processes. As a Marketing, Strategy, and Digital Communication Consultant he's developed social media workshops for insurance companies in the area of Digital Communication.

During his speech, he focused on how companies in the sector will open their doors to 'big data' and the ‘startup’ world with the intention of differentiating themselves in an increasingly competitive environment.

Emmanuel also pointed out how insurance companies must develop innovative models based on trust and this means that a "Digital Only" vision may not be the answer to new business models. Empathy, understanding the user, and above all understanding, their needs in difficult times are essential for the development of new business models in the digital economy.

Finally, he stated that the digitization of the sector allows for the personalization of prices. But, that is a process which takes time.
