The implementation of the Lean method is one of the principal resources in the philosophy of companies today, and this is something that Pedro Moneo, Opinno’s CEO and Founder, is very familiar with. That is why he was invited as speaker to the opening event of Lean Community organized by Renault. A wonderful venue that was filled by representatives from the Ministry of Industry, Madrid Network, BBVA, 3M and EFE Agency, among others.

“Innovation is the least important”, Pedro Moneo declared by surprise at the event. For him, people occupy the leading role in a company. He shared his experience as an entrepreneur on the following:

- Companies and Organizations move by passion, vocation and leadership development.

-Three keywords for training teams: Be disruptive, persistent and patient.

- CFIMITYM (Cash flow is more important than your mother)

- People are always first. When a company has knowledge it possesses more talent.

Pedro affirmed that the Lean movement has had a recent intense impact- despite being current which, for him, is innate in human beings-for three reasons: the creation of development platforms, making possible rapid prototyping and convenient time changes; the search for new models as a result of the crisis and the need to think while it is being implemented so that the technology advances. Overall, “the most important part of the Lean model is to learn, prototype and validate”.

With this emblem, Pedro created Opinno in 2008 with the objective of establishing “a global network of open innovation that uses the lean development methodology to transform organizations through designing, prototyping and validating new products, services and business models”. He invited participants to copy this model as a key factor of the synergy between companies and the generation of new ideas that can rock strong campaigns and interactivity with the rest. “My job is to look for and connect “special” people to produce changes to help us live better,” assured the founder of Opinno.

Renault Consulting’s initiative to create this Lean Community is a valuable contribution to the launch of this model in diverse areas beyond the automotive industry. It is defined as the “network for lean culture enthusiasts” focuses on “sharing, relating and comparing with you.”
